Khalid Ahmed Jamil is an Indian football manager and former player, He made 47 appearances for the India national football team.

Khalid Jamil started his career with Mahindra United in National Football League, Then he went to Air India F.C.

Jamil left Air India F.C in 1998, Khalid once admitted that he got an offer to join a football club from Brunei but rejected the offer, which he still regrets.

Khalid Jamil started his managerial career from Mumbai F.C, The team performance was not that great in that season and finished 11th-place out of 14, In the next season Mumbai City F.C performed well and finished 7th in the league.

After leaving Mumbai City F.C Jamil joined Aizawl, Aizawl became the league Champions under Khalid Jamil.

Jamil joined East Bengal as the head coach during 2017–18 season with a record breaking deal of ₹1.25 crore, making him the then highest paid Indian coach in the history of India's football league.

In 2019 Jamil was appointed as the assistant coach for NorthEast United F.C, But now after NorthEast United sack their Manager Gerard Nus, Jamil became the Coach of NorthEast United.
